How the editor works

- Select, recolor, redrawClick a shape to move, resize or rotate it; the bucket and eyedropper recolor it; Reduce colors cuts a busy palette down; the pen and node tools reshape a path; the text tool edits or adds type.
- ExportDownload the SVG, a PNG, JPEG or WebP at 1×, 2× or 4×, or copy the source. Save writes back to the original file in browsers that allow it.
Questions about the SVG editor
No. The editor runs entirely in your browser; the file is parsed and edited on your machine and never sent to a server. The one exception is opening a PNG, JPG or WebP, which sends that image to the AI service that traces it — you are told before it happens.
One of your 20 AI credits a day, shared across the AI tools — the image to SVG converter, Remove background, the palette visualizer's image upload and both palette generators spend from the same 20 — and they come back at midnight UTC. The editor shows that as a time in your own zone when they are used up, and leaves your open document untouched.
