JPG opens everywhere, but it carries no transparency and sheds a little quality every time it is re-saved. Convert it in your browser, with your files staying on your machine.

How to convert a JPG

  1. Add your JPG or JPEG filesDrag them in or pick them from disk. Both .jpg and .jpeg are the same format and both are accepted.
  2. Choose an output formatPNG to stop any further quality loss, WebP or AVIF to get the file substantially smaller than the original JPG.
  3. Convert and downloadFiles are re-encoded one at a time so you can watch the queue. A single file downloads directly; several come back zipped.

Questions about converting JPG

No, and no tool can. JPG discards detail permanently when it compresses; converting to PNG simply stops any further loss from that point on. It is worth doing before you start editing, so repeated saves do not degrade the image again — but it will not recover what the original compression threw away.

One file is free. Four hundred, on brand, in every size, is what we do.
