TIFF to JPG converter

A free TIFF to JPG converter that also writes PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and ICO, entirely in your browser. TIFF is what scanners, print shops and archives hand you, and it is the one common format most browsers flatly refuse to show. This reads it with a decoder of its own and converts it — the file never leaves your machine.

Pick the formats first, or keep the defaults. You can change the output at any time.

JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white. Converted files don’t keep EXIF or color profile data.

Runs in your browser. Your files never leave your device.

How to convert a TIFF

  1. Add your TIFF filesDrag them in or pick them from disk. A .tif and a .tiff are the same thing here, and both are read on your machine.
  2. Choose an output formatJPG is preselected, because a TIFF usually needs to become something a browser will show. PNG keeps every pixel and the transparency; WebP gives the smallest file.
  3. Convert and downloadEach TIFF is decoded and re-encoded to the format you picked. One file downloads on its own; a batch comes back as a ZIP.

Questions about converting TIFF

Yes. Chrome, Edge and Firefox all refuse a TIFF and Safari is the one engine that shows you the picture — so this tool does not ask the browser. It decodes the file itself, with the decoder fetched the moment you drop a TIFF and never before, which means the conversion behaves the same everywhere.

One file is free. Four hundred, on brand, in every size, is what we do.
