SVG to PNG converter
A free SVG to PNG converter that also writes JPG, WebP, TIFF, BMP and ICO, entirely in your browser. An SVG is instructions rather than pixels, so anything that wants a bitmap — a marketplace, an email, an older app — refuses it. This draws the vector and hands you the pixels, without the file going anywhere.

How to convert an SVG
- Add your SVG filesDrag them in or browse for them. They are drawn on your machine, and nothing about them is sent anywhere.
- Choose an output formatPNG is preselected, because transparency is usually the reason the artwork is an SVG. JPG puts it on white; ICO turns it into a favicon.
- Convert and downloadEach SVG is drawn and then encoded. One file downloads on its own; a batch comes back as a ZIP.
Questions about converting SVG
Yes: pick JPG as the output. The SVG is drawn at the size its markup states, any transparent area is laid on white because JPG has none, and the file is saved at quality 90.
The size the file itself states. A width and height in the markup are used as they are; failing that, the viewBox’s own dimensions; and an SVG that states no size at all is drawn at 2048 px on its long side — big enough to be useful, small enough to stay inside every browser’s canvas limit. Nothing is drawn larger than 8192 px on a side.
Almost always because it points at something that is not inside it — a web font, or an image linked by URL. The file is drawn as a document rather than executed as one, so scripts never run and external references are never fetched; that is what stops a converted SVG reaching the network or the page around it. Embed the fonts as outlines and the images as data, and it converts.
Not on this page, because that is a different job. Turning pixels into paths is a redraw rather than a format change, and it has a tool of its own — the image to SVG converter. The output menu here links straight to it.
One file is free. Four hundred, on brand, in every size, is what we do.
